Next Verrutop Verruca and Wart Clinic

Verruca & Wart Clinic – Limited Availability Call or text 07581 375437 to enquire or join the waiting list for the next Verruca/Wart Clinic dates. ________________________________________ Clinic Dates: • July: 16th, 21st (morning slots only), 30th (3pm or 5pm only) • August: 4th, 13th, 18th (morning slots only) You must be available for follow-up treatments every 2 weeks on the listed dates, starting from 16th July. ________________________________________ Important Commitment Information • You must be committed to a treatment plan of up to 6 sessions, spaced 10–14 days apart. • While some people may only require 2–3 treatments, others may need the full 4–6. • If your verruca or wart is not cleared after 6 treatments, you’ll need to take a minimum 4-week break before restarting. • You must be free from all other verruca/wart treatments for at least 4 weeks before your first Verrutop session. • It’s recommended to apply surgical spirit to the affected area twice daily for 2 weeks prior to starting and in between appointments. ________________________________________ About Verrutop Verrutop is a cutting-edge treatment for verrucae and warts, containing Nitrizinc Complex, applied directly to the lesion. It is especially suitable for: • Small verrucae or warts • Areas around the nails, toes, and feet • Children aged 6+ • People with a low pain threshold (it only stings for a couple of seconds once applied) How It Works • Most patients need 3–6 treatments for optimal results. • Treatments are spaced 10–14 days apart. • Follow-up and consistency are key to effectiveness. I have a Type N Autoclave for my instruments. I follow the below: With a displacement steam sterilizer (type N), the instruments will not be wrapped prior to sterilization. Immediately after removal from the sterilizer, instruments should be aseptically wrapped using suitable sealed view packs. This could be achieved by the use of forceps, clean gloves or any other appropriate process. In addition, the entire tray may be placed within a sealed pack for storage purposes. In both of these instances, storage for up to 12 months is recommended. I went on the below course and there plenty of others: https://www.oxfordhealth.nhs.uk/community-diabetes/education/ I deal with patients who have diabetes. If you are able to check your feet and manage the care of them yourself then that is absolutely fine for you to do this but you need to look out for any changes that could put you at risk with diabetes
